NORD - LOCK Poland Sp . z  o. o. has been establish in the beginning of 2007 by the Swedish company NORD-LOCK International AB, subsidiary of Investment AB Latour, a company listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. The company represents its owner’s interests offering technical and commercial services for customers in Poland and Eastern Europe.
 

NORD-LOCK International AB is a manufacturer of an unique bolt securing system for preventing unintentional loosening of bolted joints. Used method utilises increase of bolt tension based on wedge effect which blocks any rotation of the bolt or nut. It guarantees, that the joint will not loosen and assures the maintenance of high, controlled value of the clamp load in a joint and full utilization of screw’s potential without risk of damage. The system can be used especially to bolt joints subjected of dynamic loads and vibration. It considerably increases safety of machines and devices work and contributes to service and possible repairs costs reduction.
 

NORD-LOCK Bolt Securing System has been known worldwide from over 20 years. For numerous years it has been used by German (DB) and French (SNCF) railways. In Poland the system has been positively regarded by PKP PLK Railway Roads Office and approved for use in rails and switches joints. It has also won the approval CBK Cargo for applications in cargo cars and acceptance of PKP Intercity, Gdansk-Gdynia Municipal Railway and Regional Transport for application in their rolling stock.
